Our Foundation & Values

The Restoration Alliance Party (RAP) is a political movement founded in February 2023, currently in the process of formal registration. Guided by the principles of Sustainable Centrism Ideology, RAP aims to foster inclusive and people-centered governance. Our party symbol, the Spectacles, represents clarity of vision and focus on the future. Our slogan, "Mambo Sawa Sawa" (Swahili for "Things Are Already Better"), reflects our optimism and commitment to progress. The party’s colors—Gold, Blue, Red, and White—symbolize prosperity, trust, courage, and unity.

At RAP, we are driven by a belief that the future of Kenya lies in our commitment to restore dignity and foster progressive transformation into the Nation of Opportunities. We envision a nation that embodies democratic ideals, serves as a model of governance, and sets the pace for economic advancement across Africa. By adhering to the principles of Kenya’s Constitution and aligning with the African Union’s Agenda 2063, RAP pledges to contribute to a unified vision of Pan-Africanism and a renaissance for Africa—the Africa We Want!.

We have structured our governance agenda around Five Pillars of Restoration and Progressive Transformation, each supported by 44 carefully crafted Focus Areas. These pillars address core national issues through pragmatic, results-oriented strategies designed to foster sustainable development, strengthen institutions, and empower every Kenyan for a more prosperous and equitable future.

RAP aspires to position Kenya as a global leader in innovation, economic resilience, and social cohesion by creating opportunities for economic success and fostering unity. RAP’s ideology, Sustainable Centrism, blends economic dynamism, social justice, and environmental stewardship to address national challenges while honouring Kenya's cultural legacy.

RAP's vision is to realize the promise of a prosperous and inclusive society, aligning its policies with the Party’s Constitution. With over 40% of Kenya's population living below the poverty line and 55% of the workforce in the informal sector, RAP aims to create a more equitable society through the Five Transformative Pillars outlined in its manifesto namely: Creating Opportunities and Restoring Hope, Driving Agile Economic Growth, Enhancing Financial Sector Capacity, Fostering Resilience and Unity, and Promoting Stewardship in Governance.

We look forward to Collaborating with all Kenyans, regardless of their socio-economic and political backgrounds, to restore and transform our nation into the Nation of Opportunities. Together, we can realize the Kenya we envision, where every citizen can benefit from and contribute to our nation's rich natural resources. United, we have the power to elevate our beautiful Kenya into a leading emerging market economy, rekindling the dreams of our forefathers who fought valiantly against colonial rule. Together, we can proudly affirm that the sacrifices made by our gallant ancestors in the struggle for independence were not in vain. This is the vision of RAP. We have reached the mountaintop and seen the promise of a Nation of Opportunities; united as one nation, we will achieve it together. With God Almighty by our side, we hold firm to His promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us. RAP is ready to lead the people of Kenya toward this great Nation of Opportunities.
