Regional Delegates Convention (RDC)

The Regional Delegates Convention (RDC) consists of seven (7) regional bodies aligned with the regional economic model in Kenya, each composed of delegates from various counties. These regions include Nairobi, Frontier Counties, North Rift, Lake Region, Coastal, South Eastern, and Mt. Kenya and Aberdares. The RDC is responsible for managing regional party affairs, ensuring coordination, and harmonizing decisions from the NDC and NEC. The RDC holds annual elections for its members, with office terms lasting five years. It convenes ordinary and special sessions, which are summoned by the NEC or at the request of one-third of delegates. Decisions are made through voting, and the quorum for sessions is 30% of eligible members.
